The range of its application and properties are almost the same as sorbic acid, however, the potassium form (and its other salts) is more soluble in water. Potassium sorbate is an excellent preservative against fungi and yeasts. It is used in cosmetics and cigarettes, and is often used in combination with sodium benzoate.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Potassium sorbate in aquaristics<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Perfectly preserves liquid aquarium fertilizers and protects them against the growth of mold or fungi.
