Application
Hydrochloric acid is one of the most important acids in the industry (including textiles, sugar, dyes, plastics, pharmaceutical, tanning, and ore extraction). It is also used for the surface cleaning of metals, as well as in geology for the analysis of minerals. Together with nitric acid, it forms royal water, which is used, inter alia, for the digestion of precious metals.
